Title:                                 Special Sanitization II

Reports to:                     Supervisor, Manufacturing

Department:                 Operations

Supervises:                    N/A

Organizational Relationships:            

Department supervisory staff, Set Up and Manufacturing personnel.

Basic Function:            

Disassembles, cleans, sanitizes and reassembles manufacturing and filling equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. A complete knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures for all filling or manufacturing equipment.

2. Responsible for disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble “without damage”, most of, either, all manufacturing or filling equipment in assigned area.

3. Responsible for keeping area compliant with all safety, environmental and G.M.P. procedures.

4. Identify any damages to equipment and notify supervisor when repair is needed.

5. Must be able to run the pipe cleaning machine.

6. Responsible for keeping an adequate inventory of all repair parts for manufacturing or fill equipment on hand and notifying Operations Supervisor when supply is getting low.

7. Responsible for keeping all equipment logs up-to-date on cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance of filling or manufacturing equipment.

8. Occasionally may be assigned other jobs by supervisor as considered necessary.

1.   SS Pipeline, fillings and clamps                           5.      Pumps

3.   Colloid mills                                                            7.    Versators

4.   Moyno pumps                                                        8.   Graco pumps

                                                                                        9.   Manufacturing tanks

The following is a list of filling equipment.

1.           Cozzolis, single and multiple head                    5.           Graco pumps

2.           Kalix fillers                                                              6.        SS pipeline, fittings and clamps

3.           Arenco fillers                                                          7.        Norden

4.           Single stem vacuum filler                                     8.         Cavalla

Qualifications:

1. General education.  High School or equivalent diploma preferred.

2. Minimum of three years experience in a manufacturing environment.

3. Knowledge of machinery, product and process in the production area.

4. Good math skills.

5. Knowledge of G.M.P.’s safety, environmental and quality procedures for performing work in the production area.
