Job Summary: 

Welcome to the role of Express Lube Advisor! In this position, you will be a valued member of our team, providing top-notch customer service and expert advice on our express lube services. You will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our customers by providing fast, friendly, and accurate service. You'll also be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle service needs and providing solutions to ensure customers are satisfied with their experience.

Compensation: 
Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage at the applicable minimum wage rate ($16.30), plus commissions. Commission amounts vary based on performance, but the expected average annual earnings are approx. $50,000 to $65,000. The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum pay range expected for this role. Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.  

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ascertain their vehicle needs

• Explain maintenance services and ensure customers understand the benefits of each service

• Provide detailed estimates for customers

• Ensure that all services are performed properly and efficiently

• Monitor and maintain the quality of service

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as changing oil and filters

• Check and inspect vehicle components including brakes, tires, and fluid levels

• Advise customers on additional services or repairs they should consider

• Educate customers on how to maintain their vehicles and keep them running efficiently

• Keep up to date on product knowledge and service procedures

• Follow safety procedures and recommend measures to improve safety performance

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers

• Ability to accurately diagnose customer needs

• Knowledge of basic automotive systems and components

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to learn new products and services

• Basic computer skills

• Knowledge of safety practices

• Good organizational skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
