About the Job:

The Sr Analytics Specialist will be responsible for providing the sales team with up to date and accurate reporting and metrics to ensure productivity measures are met. This role will partner with IT, finance, data governance and marketing.


In This Role, You Will:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions and strategies.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Clean, transform, and prepare raw data for analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Apply statistical techniques and methodologies to analyze data and develop predictive models for forecasting and decision support.
  • Utilize analytics tools and technologies effectively to extract, manipulate, and analyze data, such as SQL, Python, R, or others.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in analytics, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, operations, and IT to gather data requirements and deliver insights that address business needs.
  • Document analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or analytical role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Qlik, Databricks, Excel, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, and ability to create compelling visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques, with experience in applying them to real-world business problems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

 

Location: This is an in-office role based in Charlotte, NC.

Approximately 5% travel is anticipated.
