Griffith Foods is a global manufacturer of food products. We provide a wide range of taste and texture components for food industry customers throughout the world. Our products include seasoning blends, dry mixes, coating systems, dough blends, crumbs, flavors, sauces and food bases that are used in an extensive variety of application from snack foods and processed meat and poultry to ready meals. Our customers include food processors, restaurant operators and grocery retailers. While our name may not be familiar to consumers, our products are key components of foods offered by many of the world’s best-known companies.
It is essential to have a valid Occupational Health license.
Responsibilities
- Implement and keep up-to-date the identification of hazards and threats along with their respective risk assessment using the Hazard Matrix and Vulnerability Matrix.
- Implement, maintain, and evaluate the coherence of the Occupational Health and Safety program with compliance to legal requirements
- Establish, implement, and maintain procedures to regularly track, measure, and record the performance of Health and Safety.
- Coordinate all activities and monitor compliance with standards for managing chemical substance programs, emergency plans, High-Risk Tasks (confined spaces, hot work, working at heights), contractor management, and others), as well as Ergonomic SVEP.
- Plan and conduct audits of the Health and Safety Management System.
Education: Industrial Engineering, administration, and training in Occupational Health and Safety.
Experience: Eight years in Occupational Health and Safety areas in industrial companies.
