Position Summary


We are currently looking for a Service Assistant and a talented multi-task supporter for our activities in our European sales/service office location in Zellik, Belgium and to support our service manager and field service technicians in Europe with customer care and service/part supplies. An “Octopus” and “Go-Getter” personal attitude making customer satisfaction and technical performance your priority.


Position Responsibilities


  • Manage and maintain the Zellik inventory/warehouse including its cleanness and housekeeping (Project: Support and manage implementation of mobile warehouse/barcoding technologies).
  • Goods receive and shipments management including freight bookings/ERP processing in/out of goods to the Cold Jet European entities.
  • Cold Jet Connect Data and Contract Officer (Europe) – Maintain and manage our service agreements and pro-actively update customers/technicians with scheduled PM and 12-month contact calls/check visits.
  • Prepare and maintain Service Agreements calculator.
  • Answers incoming service calls and redirects them to the appropriate office/person via ticketing system – QUALIFY the request for quote and support!
  • Handling of standard spare parts request for quotes and order-handling/service job entry in our ERP system
  • Back up Service Coordinator Europe and other jobs and duties as required/assigned.
  • Service Support to other functions at the Zellik office location (Sales, Marketing, Finance/Accounting/ Management)



Position Requirements


Education & Experience


  • High School or BS degree equivalent work experience in communications or a technical area of study 
  • Five or more years of diverse experience and accomplishment in customer service or telephone sales for a technical or capital goods company


Skill Competencies


  • Service-oriented and client-oriented
  • Speaks several languages (English, Dutch and French). Knowledge of German is advantage.
  • Natural “flair and interest” for technical product
  • Excellent communication skills and uses appropriate phone etiquette.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with similar service administrative responsibilities
  • Possesses an affinity for administrative workflows, takes pride in the speed and accuracy of work performed
  • Responds to pressure calmly and professionally, manages stress appropriately - Proactive, takes initiative when appropriate.
  • Proficient in data management and tools (MS Excell…)
  • Possesses practical knowledge of and experience with ERP systems, MS Office tools and other standard computer applications.
