The Breakdown: 

As the Vice President, E-Commerce, you will drive our Marketplace function's digital commerce strategy and manage our e-Commerce operations globally. Your primary focus will be on cultivating and nurturing one-on-one relationships with our customers through our digital channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging digital experience that drives revenues. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the activation of branding messaging and campaigns across the digital channel.

What You Get to Do:

  • Global E-Commerce Business Management: Lead and manage our global e-commerce business, ensuring alignment with forecast and direction from Category Business Units.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor a diverse and inclusive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and equitable growth.
  • Customer-Facing Applications: Oversee customer-facing applications, optimizing their performance and functionality to enhance the customer experience.
  • E-Commerce Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute an e-commerce strategy and roadmap that drives growth and profitability in alignment with our business goals.
  • Digital Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with our brand's objectives and customer expectations.
  • KPI Management: Drive the business through our digital channel by managing key performance indicators (KPIs) on a global scale, ensuring the achievement of set targets. This includes:
    • Topline Primary Metrics: Demand Sales and Net Sales, measured through three KPIs: Traffic, AOV (Average Order Value), and Conversion.
    • Bottom-line Primary Metrics: Gross Margin (both $ and %) and SG&A .
    • Accountability for both metrics above are shared with Category Business Units and Marketing.
  • Branding Activation: Activate branding messaging and campaigns across the digital channel, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with strategic goals.

What You'll Bring to The Team:

  • Extensive experience in senior e-commerce leadership roles, particularly within the retail industry.
  • Proven expertise in managing global e-commerce operations and digital strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of customer-facing applications and digital customer service management.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of team development and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce strategy development and execution.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills that promote collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.

Technical Capabilities

  • E-Commerce Strategy Development: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Digital Marketing and Brand Activation: Proficiency in activating branding messaging and campaigns across digital channels to enhance brand consistency and alignment with strategic goals.
  • KPI Management: Experience in managing key performance indicators (KPIs) on a global scale, including demand sales, net sales, traffic, average order value (AOV), conversion rate, gross margin, and SG&A.
  • Customer-Facing Applications Optimization: Strong knowledge of customer-facing applications and expertise in optimizing their performance and functionality to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Global E-Commerce Business Management: Experience in leading and managing global e-commerce operations, ensuring alignment with forecast and direction from Category Business Units.
  • Data Analysis and Decision Making: Proficiency in analyzing e-commerce data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of leading and mentoring diverse teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and equitable growth.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial metrics related to e-commerce operations, including gross margin and SG&A, and ability to drive business performance in alignment with financial targets.
