Fabric Mfg - Assistant

JOB TITLE:  Assistant (all titles) Production Equipment                               

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Summary:

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of simple, routine automated manual, mechanical or electro-mechanical operations.  These operations include measure, cut, trim, bag, label, inspect, sort, load, unload, check and inspect.  Keeps necessary records, reports rejects and failure patterns, performs workmanship and documentation checks.  Works to sketches, diagrams, drawings, instructions, specifications and procedures, both written and verbal.  Acts to maintain the integrity of processes and products.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• The ability to understand and interpret written and verbal instructions.
• Packaging of rolls of product
• Restock roll/cores
• Open bales
• Set-up machine
• Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED TRAINING:

• Lock-out
• Basic hazardous communication
• PPE
• On the job safety review
