Here’s a snapshot of what you will do in this role:

 

  • The Director of FP&A establishes internal business partnerships across the organization and within the finance team to understand the opportunities and risks to Easterseals’ operating plans and monthly forecasts.
  • Manages the standard KPI reporting, forecasting process, reporting, analysis, and consolidation reporting that aid visibility and insights on the expected performance of our operating segments. 
  • Drives economic and operational efficiencies and improvements.
  • Aids in balancing short-term and long-term priorities.
  • Complete consolidation & KPI reporting.
  • Work with the CFO in the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasts and maintain performance reporting and analysis. 
  • Ensure adherence to calendar, consistency, and quality of financial performance information.
  • Proactively spot and highlight trends & variances to produce analysis.
  • Understand and evaluate drivers behind variances to Budget/Forecast/Prior period.
  • Updating non-standard financial reports on business cases, sensitivity analysis, pricing-related tasks, and Capex reporting.
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer in driving key processes and providing actionable reporting and analysis.
  • Work with CFO to resolve revenue/margin gaps.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Two years of leadership experience in Accounting & Finance.
  • Seven or more years of experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and consolidation in a corporate FP&A role.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work with various individuals who have different financial skills and needs
  • Experience in building financial models.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills, especially prioritizing multiple   projects/tasks.
  • Excellent communication and Excel skills.
  •  Advanced/Expert level, MS Office, and Financial Systems; Exposure to PowerBI a plus.
  • Proficiency in Accounting software – NetSuite a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen data analysis and attention to detail and multi-tasking skills in a face-paced environment.
  • Proven expertise in compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
