Operations Manager, Technical, Planner, Quality, Supervisor Set Up, BDM’s, BDR’s

Basic Function:          

To develop and implement efficient manufacturing and assembly procedures for new products and provide technical assistance with existing products and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Review all specifications and procedures for new KDC/ One Port Jervis products.
  2. Review specifications, procedures, and requirements for customer supplied Tech Transfers. Meet with customers to properly implement same as requested.
  3. Make necessary adjustments on pilot batches and implement learnings through procedure updates to ensure product meets all specifications.
  4. Identify and interpret variations in product, equipment, or procedures which may affect results.
  5. Set up standard laboratory equipment, run batching and testing, obtain results, and accurately record the results of such tests.
  6. Work closely with R&D and contribute suggestions for improving laboratory methods and procedures.
  7. Must be familiar with functions and operation of all laboratory and production equipment in area of responsibility.
  8. Work with manufacturing and production personnel to troubleshoot problem products. Record and report data while implementing procedural changes as needed.
  9. Assist in the formula input system for assigned area and implement manufacturing and filling procedures into batch pack.
  10. Should have a good working knowledge of manufacturing and production procedures and G.M.P.’s.
  11. Must exhibit safe work habits at all times.
  12. Should have a good knowledge of raw materials and chemical use in products.
  13. Any other duties assigned by supervisor.

       

Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor of Science degree or a minimum of 5 years technical experience in Engineering or Chemistry.
  2. A minimum of three years of manufacturing plant experience, preferably in the cosmetic industry.
  3. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  4. Good public relations skills for interfacing with customers and outside plant vendors.
  5. Knowledge of G.M.P.’s, environmental, safety and QC procedures.
